KASON-DIT302E composite plate drop weight impact tester for aerospace & automotive composite pre-damage test, complies with ASTM D7136 & GB/T21239. Equipped with Siemens PLC and high-speed data acquisition system to auto generate force-displacement curves. Anti-secondary impact device & fully enclosed safety cover, fully automatic test process

Brief Introduction
This test method covers the determination of the damage resistance of continuous fiber-reinforced polymer matrix composite laminates subjected to low-velocity impact using an instrumented drop-weight impact tester. Damage resistance is characterized by the extent of internal damage and surface indentation resulting from a controlled impact event.
This test method is commonly used to introduce controlled impact damage to specimens that are subsequently tested in accordance with ASTM D7137/D7137M for Compression After Impact (CAI) strength measurement. It is not applicable to short-fiber reinforced molding compounds.
